2023 Athletics Championship – Results

What a day of ACC Sport! With some hot action on track and some sensational field event performances, the 2023 Athletics Championship will prove to be a memorable experience for all involved. The warm day and the fantastic surrounds of Lakeside Stadium helped to create a wonderful atmosphere. In ideal conditions the athletes represented their schools in fine form. There was over 500 athletes all performing to the best of their ability, with three of those attaining new ACC records. Congratulations to:

In what was an amazing performance on the track and field, Parade College returned to the top in Division 1. The “Old Collegians Shield” will be making the trip back to Bundoora with the Parade reclaiming it after losing it only a year earlier. The final scores were: Parade (352), St Joseph’s Geelong (332.5), Whitefriars (309.5), St Bede’s (269.5), St Bernard’s (242.5), Salesian (234) & De La Salle College (200).

In Division 2 the drought has finally come to an end for St Joseph’s College Ferntree Gully. This victory is very special to the college as it is their first ever Athletics Championship. The final standings were: St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully (327), Mazenod (313.5), St Patrick’s (291.5), Emmanuel (208), St Mary’s (204) & Simonds (118).

2023 ACC ATHLETICS RESULTS

This is the largest annual event that the ACC conducts and it requires a significant number of helpers to ensure that it runs efficiently. The ACC would like to acknowledge the many volunteers and officials that contributed so well to the success of the day – a great team effort all round!
